Visiting Lane CC knocked Southwestern Oregon out of a share of second place in the NWAC women’s basketball race with a 56-50 win in Coos Bay Wednesday night. SWOCC (6-5, 15-11) is now tied for third place with Portland CC. The Laker men (4-9, 7-19) beat the Titans 73-71 in the nightcap. Southwestern ends the regular season Saturday at Portland CC.
