Southwestern Oregon opened the 2017/18 men’s collegiate basketball season Saturday with a 79-60 win over the Alumni. The Lakers host the Willamette JVs on Friday, Nov. 17, 6 p.m., and Pacific University JVs on Sunday, Nov. 19, 1 p.m. SWOCC’s women also downed the Alumni 79-60. The women next play Nov. 24 against Clackamas at the Clackamas Thanksgiving Invitational at Oregon City.
