Southwestern Oregon’s men dropped their opener to So. Puget Sound 81-80 Friday night in the Dale Bates Classic at Lane CC in Eugene. On Saturday, the Lakers lost to Tacoma 86-68. On Sunday SWOCC lost to Spokane 86-72. Southwestern (4-5) plays at Green River on Friday, Dec. 14, 8pm, Shoreline Saturday, 2pm, and Columbia Basin Sunday, Noon. The Laker women lost 55-44 to Spokane at the Everett Basketball Classic, Everett, WA on Friday. On Saturday, SWOCC fell 56-50 to Skagit Valley. SWOCC (3-5) plays Treasure Valley, 3pm, Saturday in a Crossover Tournament at Coos Bay. On Sunday, the Lakers will host Pierce, 1pm.
