Southwestern Oregon beat Santa Rosa Thursday in the opening round of the Santa Rosa Tournament in California. The Lakers won 56-53. On Friday, SWOCC fell to San Francisco City College 61-56 in the semi-finals. Southwestern (7-4) played for third on Saturday and beat Ohlone CC 77-58. Southwestern’s men lost to Grays Harbor 99-92 Friday at the Dale Bates Tournament in Eugene. The Lakers (2-7) lost to Lower Columbia 72-69 Saturday. The men’s team plays at the Big Bend Crossover Tournament this weekend in Moses Lake, WA. The women will play in the Skagit Crossover in Mount Vernon, WA this weekend.
