Southwestern Oregon’s men lost 90-80 to at Green River in Auburn, WA Friday. The Lakers beat Shoreline 95-87 Saturday, also at Green River. And, on Sunday, SWOCC fell to Walla Walla 86-85. Southwestern (5-7) opens NWAC league play on Jan. 2, at Mt. Hood, and Jan. 5 at Clackamas. SWOCC’s women beat visiting Whatcom 94-85 Friday in an NWAC Crossover at Coos Bay. On Saturday, Treasure Valley beat the Lakers 80-75. Southwestern hosted Pierce on Sunday and won 76-41. The Lakers (5-6) also open NWAC play at Mt. Hood on Jan. 2, and at Clackamas on Jan. 5.
