Southwestern Oregon’s men’s basketball team lost 97-92 to Mendocino College at the College of the Redwoods near Eureka, CA Friday. The Lakers played the College of the Redwoods on Saturday. SWOCC (1-4) play at Centralia Saturday, Dec. 14, 2 p.m., and then at Pacific University in Forest Grove on Sunday, 3 p.m. Southwestern’s women’s basketball team won 63-58 at Spokane Friday. On Saturday, the Lakers downed Everett 79-73. SWOCC fell in overtime to Lower Columbia on Sunday, 79-73. Southwestern (4-6) plays at Pacific University in Forest Grove on Sunday, Dec. 15.
