Southwestern Oregon dropped its 2019-20 basketball opener at New Hope Christian, 100-97, in Oregon City Friday. On Saturday, the Laker dropped a 151-96 win on Multnomah JV also at Oregon City. SWOCC (1-1) plays Spokane Friday, Nov. 29, at the Lower Columbia Red Devil Classic in Longview, WA. Southwestern Oregon’s women lost 59-50 to Peninsula on Saturday in Bremerton, WA. On Sunday the Lakers beat Olympic 69-50 at the Olympic College Ranger Classic in Bremerton. SWOCC (1-1) plays Umpqua Friday, Nov. 29, 5 p.m., at the Clackamas CC Thanksgiving Tourney in Oregon City. The NWAC cross country championships are Monday, Nov. 18, Lacey, WA.
