At the SW Oregon Crossover volleyball tournament at Southwestern Oregon Community College in Coos Bay this past weekend, SWOCC defeated Yakima Valley 3-1 on Friday, but lost to Treasure Valley 3-2. On Saturday, the Lakers beat Whatcom 3-1, downed Centralia 3-0, but fell to Clark 3-2. Southwestern (1-4, 14-9) plays Friday at Clackamas. Southwestern’s men fell 8-0 at Chemeketa on Saturday in NWAC soccer. The women also lost to the Storm, 6-1. The Laker women (1-11-2, 2-13-2) and the men’s team (0-12-0, 3-12-0) play at Clark College in Vancouver, WA Wednesday.
