Southwestern Oregon dropped two NWAC volleyball matches on the road last weekend. The Lakers fell Friday night at Mt. Hood in Gresham 3-1, and then was swept 3-0 at Clark College in Vancouver, WA Saturday. SWOCC (3-6, 15-14) next hosts Clackamas Friday night, 6:30 p.m. The women’s soccer team beat Rogue in Southern Oregon Saturday, 3-1. The men’s soccer team lost at Rogue 2-0. This week, the men (0-12, 0-15-1) host Clark on Wednesday, Oct. 26, time to be determined, while the women (5-5-0, 6-8-0) entertain Clackamas at 1 p.m. Southwestern’s cross country teams will run in the Southern Region Championships at Clackamas in Oregon City on Saturday, Oct. 29.
