Lane CC swept the NWAC track & field championships at Mt. Hood CC in Gresham Monday & Tuesday, May 20 & 21. Southwestern Oregon’s men were seventh & the women tenth. Laker sophomore Bryan Terry was the Men’s High Point Athlete of the Meet. Terry collected 28 points winning the Shot Put & Discus Throw and placing second in the Hammer throw. SWOCC women’s champions: 400m Dash – Aayzia Dumas, SW Oregon, :57.94. SWOCC men’s champions: Discus – Bryan Terry, SW Oregon, 146’0”; Shot Put – Bryan Terry, SW Oregon, 51’11.25”.
