Southwestern Oregon’s sophomores Kuda Murasiranwa (10.63) & Bryan Hunt (10.83) went 2-3 in the 100 meter finals of the NWAC track & field championships at Mt. Hood CC in Gresham May 21-22. Murasiranwa was also second in the 200 (21.60) giving the Lakers eight more points.  Hunt & Murasiranwa combined with Angel Moreno & Carter Rudisill as a 4X100 Relay team and they placed fifth (42.70).  The 4X400 Relay team of Christian Ambrogio, Everett Evanoff, Clinton Omandi, Lamont Klepper placed sixth (3:28.53).  Bryan Terry was third in the Shot Put (14.08m) and third in the Discus (43.49m) for 12-points.  The freshman also picked up four more points with a fifth place finish in the Hammer (45.10m).   Lane CC of Eugene won the NWAC men’s championship with Spokane second.  Spokane won the women’s meet with Lane second.
