Libby Ln., CCSO release – On February 5th, 2019, at about 5:30 AM, deputies were dispatched to a report of a male entering the caller’s residence while they slept. The caller reported at about 0530 hrs, he and his wife woke to Jimi Lee Lawing standing near his wife’s bed. The caller said Lawing was leaning over his wife, while she was in bed, attempting to light a lighter. The caller escorted Lawing out of his home at gun point and later called The Coos County Sheriff’s Office. On February 6th, 2019, at about 1000 hrs, Deputies located Lawing at his residence, located at 92893 Libby Lane, Coos Bay. Lawing was placed under arrest and transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked in on the charge of Trespassing in the First Degree.
