On Tuesday, November 24, 2015, an Oregon State Police Fish & Wildlife Trooper from the Grants Pass office responded to a report of a 3×4 buck deer found dead off Frankham Road near Cloverlawn Drive, in the southeast part of Grants Pass. The Trooper located the buck in a yard and determined it was killed with archery equipment. The Trooper determined that this incident likely occurred on the previous day (Monday) in Unit 28 which currently has a muzzleloader deer season active at this time, but not an open archery season. The Oregon State Police is looking for information on who killed the buck. Information leading to the arrest of the person responsible could result in a reward. OSP is asking for the public help from anyone who may have information regarding this case.
