News release CCSO. On 10/23/2017, at approximately 1319 hours, Deputies were dispatched to the Charleston area for a report of criminal mischief. Deputies met the victim, Charles Knaus on Charleston Road, Charleston, Coos County, Oregon. Mr. Knaus advised Annette Miles had broken a window out of his vehicle and threatened him with an axe. Mr. Knaus reported Ms. Miles picked up the axe and threatened to cut him. Another victim tried to intervene and was also threatened. Ms Miles was no longer on scene but was later located. Ms. Miles was arrested on charges of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Menacing, Harassment x2, Disorderly Conduct II and Criminal Mischief III and transported to the Coos County Jail. She was held on a bail of $52500.00.
