News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On the above date and time, Sheriffs Deputies responded to 265 South 8th Street Lakeside, to a report of a stolen vehicle that was at that location. As a result of the investigation Steven Bowen was arrested for Unlawful use of a Motor Vehicle, Driving While Suspended and Operating a Motor Vehicle with an open container. Mr. Bowen was transported to the Coos County Jail and released into the Jail Staffs custody. Deputies recovered a 2004 Mazda that had been reported stolen on 11/21/2014 from the Human Bean in the Bunker Hill area of Coos Bay by Ms. Gordon who was working there at the time.
