Boat Basin Rd. & Cape Arago Hwy., CCSO release – On January 23rd, 2019 at 1:23 PM, a Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic infraction near Boat Basin Road on Cape Arago Highway in Coos Bay. During the traffic stop, it was discovered both the operator, Lonnie Gates, and the passenger, Amy Warner, were Coos County Community Corrections Clients. Their Probation Officer was contacted and a detainer was authorized. Lonnie and Amy were transported to the Coos County Jail for Probation Violation’s and lodged.
