Sandbug Ln., CCSO release – On June 2, 2018 at approximately 8:09 PM a Coos County Sheriff’s deputy responded to the area of Sandbug Lane in Hauser, for a call for service. While at the location the deputy contacted a man by the name of Michael R. Botts 40 years of age from North Bend. Mr. Botts was not the focus of the call and subsequently allowed to leave the location. A record check of Mr. Botts revealed he had numerous outstanding warrants for his arrest and was on abscond status from the community corrections department. Coos County Sheriff’s Office K9 Odin and was called to the location to attempt a criminal apprehension track for Mr. Botts. K9 Odin located Mr. Botts after a short track and he was taken into custody without incident on the numerous warrants for his arrest.
