Boat Basin Dr., CCSO release – On October 16th, 2019 at 1831 hours, a Deputy with the Coos County Sheriff’s Office was patrolling near 63301 Boat Basin Road, Coos Bay, Coos County, Oregon, when he observed a female running with a garbage can through the Seaport RV Park. As the Deputy pulled up he recognized the female as 30 year old Desiray L. Simones. The Deputy checked Desiray through the state and national data base. Desiray began running from the Deputy before he exited his patrol vehicle. Another Deputy advised the Deputy on scene that Desiray had warrants out for her arrest. The Deputy began pursuing Desiray on foot. The Deputy yelled out for Desiray to stop multiple times but she chose to keep running from the Deputy. The Deputy was able to catch up to and locate Desiray hiding near other garbage cans. Desiray was taken into custody and transported to the Coos County Jail without further incident. Desiray was booked at the Coos County Jail for three different Probation Violation Warrants.
