The Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board has announced routine maintenance flushing of waterlines within its distribution system in Coos Bay the week of Dec. 23. According to a news release, the flushing will take place from Ocean Blvd. east to 6th Street and Central Ave., north to Cedar Ave. between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Water users may notice some discoloration of the water and reduced pressure; however, it will improve.
