Sixteen boys and girls basketball teams are arriving in the Bay Area today for the 2019 OSAA/OnPoint Community Credit Union 3A Boys & Girls State Basketball Tournament. The two eight-team tourneys begin Thursday afternoon with boy’s quarterfinals at NBHS and girl’s quarterfinals at MHS. The teams will be treated to a BBQ dinner Wednesday night courtesy of the North Bend Volunteer Firefighters and then participate in a three-point competition in the Bulldogs’ Main Gym. The coaches will also participate in a Seafood Dinner held in their behalf at the NBHS Hall of Fame to officially kickoff the three-day tournament.
