On October 21, 2016 at about 10:PM, OSP Troopers and emergency personnel responded to the report of a single vehicle collision on Interstate 5 northbound at the 199 exit (Coburg). Preliminary investigation revealed a 2006 Harley Davidson was traveling northbound on Interstate 5 when it took the 199 exit. The motorcyclist lost control and crashed on the off-ramp. A passerby pulled the bike off the rider and began administering first aid. A trooper who was at the nearby gas station arrived on scene quickly and took over care of the rider until medics arrived. The motorcyclist, Michael Allen KETTS, age 68, of Coburg, was transported to Sacred Heart Riverbend Hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
