City Hall Conference Room at City Hall, 500 Central Avenue, Coos Bay; Agenda: 1. 640 Newmark Avenue (Empire Mercantile) – Façade Improvement Grant & Architectural; Design Review – The applicant is requesting approval of a façade improvement grant to replace deteriorating façade, paint the north, west and south elevations and add security lighting on the Wall Street elevation. The property is located in the “Empire Waterfront Settlement Design Review” district, which requires approval of an Architectural Design Review. 2. 150 Central Avenue (American Building) – Pre-Application – Façade Improvement Grant – The applicant is requesting approval of a Façade Improvement Grant to replace 24 windows on the Central Avenue elevation, with Milgard wood-clad double-hung vinyl Windows. 3. 657 Newmark Avenue (Star of Hope) – Pre- Application – Façade Improvement Grant; The applicant is requesting approval of a Façade Improvement Grant to add awnings to the north elevation and repair weather damaged stucco and paint north/west elevations. Their proposed color scheme is a light blue body with dark blue columns, white trim and black awnings. The property is located in the “Empire Waterfront Settlement Design Review” district, which requires approval of an Architectural Design Review (at a future meeting). 4.
