Warrant/Drugs
Persimmon Ln., CCSO release – On Saturday September 29th, 2018 at about 9:55 am Deputies with the Coos County Sheriff’s Office were called to Persimmon Lane in Coos Bay for a report of possible drug activity. In front of the residence they found Robert Creach (42 years old of Coos Bay). Robert provided the Deputies with his name and date of birth and he then went into the residence to get another person involved in the call. While Robert was in the house, the Deputies ran him through the state and national crime databases, and were told he had a warrant for his arrest out of Washington State. Anticipating that Robert would either hide in the residence, or attempt to run, the deputies called Sgt. Adam Slater and his K9 partner Odin to the scene. When Deputies attempted to re-contact Robert he was nowhere to be found in the residence. However rustling was heard in a bush behind the house. Sgt. Slater investigated, and witnessed Robert running through tall brush, and trees. A quick perimeter was set up, and K9 Odin was deployed. Odin tracked Robert for a short distance. Robert identified himself to Deputies as soon as Odin was within a few feet of him. He came out of the brush without further incident, and was taken into custody. Robert was transported to the Coos County Jail where he was lodged without bail on his warrant.
This marks the 71st successful track of K9 Odin’s career thus far.
