The Coos Bay Police Department is seeking public assistance in the investigation of a theft of four brand new chainsaws from a local business. On July 26, 2018, at about 9 A.M., two males subjects entered South Coast Saw and Garden, 1120 S. Broadway Street. Each male suspect grabbed two brand new Stihl chainsaws from the showroom. The two suspects then fled the store and entered a passenger vehicle, before fleeing the area. The suspect fled in a dark blue or black Honda or Acura passenger car. The suspect vehicle has red mirrors and red accents on the lower portion of the vehicle. At this time no suspects have been identified and the public’s help would be greatly appreciated.
