Oregon State Police is hosting the 2nd annual Missing Children’s Day Summit and Child Safety Fair. May 25th is National Missing children’s day and is dedicated to encouraging parents, guardians, caregivers, and others concerned with the wellbeing of children to make child safety a priority. It serves as a reminder to continue our efforts to reunite missing children with their families and an occasion to honor those dedicated to this cause. This event is going to be held May 25, 2018 at Riverfront Park 200 Water St. NE, Salem, OR 97301 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The theme for this year’s event is “Hope is why we are here.” Oregon currently has over 450 missing children. Our jobs are to help give children the childhood they all deserve.
