Free Christmas Dinners are again being offered on the South Coast. Kozy Kitchen on Newmark St. in North Bend will offer a free Holiday Dinner for anyone in need. Those who attend can pay what they can. All proceeds will be donated to ARK to help homeless youth in our community. The menu includes turkey, ham and prime rib as well as side dishes. The South Coast Gospel Mission will hold a dinner from 1-3 p.m. at 1999 N. 7th St. in Coos Bay. Along with the meal, live entertainment and Santa will appear. Coquille Valley Hospital Community Outreach and the City of Coquille are jointly sponsoring a dinner at the Community Center from noon to 3 p.m. The Bandon Christmas Community Meal will be held at The Barn, 1200 11th St SW, in City Park from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. In Curry Co., the Curry Fair Friends will provide a free Christmas Dinner at Docia Sweet Hall at the Curry Co. Fairgrounds from noon to 3 p.m.
