The first Civil War men’s basketball game for 2019 went Oregon State’s way Saturday at the Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene. The Beavers beat Oregon 77-72 in the 351st version of the in-state rivalry. The Ducks (0-1, 9-5) next host UCLA Thursday, Jan. 10, 6 p.m., ESPN, and USC on Sunday, Jan. 13, 5 p.m., on ESPNU. OSU (1-0, 9-4) hosts USC Thursday, 8 p.m., ESPNU, and UCLA Sunday, 7 p.m., FS1, both at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis.
