SORA release – The Coos County Airport District (CCAD), has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program in accordance with regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), 49 CFR Part 26. CCAD anticipates it will receive Federal financial assistance from the DOT, and as a condition of receiving this assistance, CCAD has signed an assurance that it will comply with 49 CFR Part 26. As part of establishing the upcoming DBE goals for Federal Fiscal Years (FFY) 2018/2019/2020, a public meeting will be held at 1:00pm – 2:00pm on August 28, 2018, in the Conference Room, Mezzanine Level, at the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport Terminal Building, 1100 Airport Lane, North Bend, Oregon 97459. The purpose of the public meeting is to discuss potential opportunities for DBE participation in upcoming projects, gain input, and to answer questions. All interested parties are invited to attend, which may include (but not limited to) minority, women’s and general contractor groups, community organizations, and other officials or organizations who may have interest or information pertinent to the implementation of CCAD’s DBE Program. The meeting is not mandatory for DBE participation on projects at the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport. CCAD will provide a call-in line, if requested.
