Huckleberry Hill Assault
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. “On 12-21-13, approximately 1007 hrs Coos County Sheriff Deputies responded to the Huckleberry Hills Trailer Park, space# 4, Charleston, Oregon to a report of an assault. Upon arrival they met with 56 year old Harry E. Moulton, who resides in the park. Mr. Moulton reported that following an argument with his neighbor, 70 year old Richard E. Lowden over Mr. Lowden’s vehicle parked and blocking his vehicle, he was punched by Richard. Mr. Moulton received swelling and bleeding in his right eye but refused medical treatment. Deputies contacted Richard Lowden who was arrested for Assault IV and Probation Violation. Richard Lowden was transported to the Coos County Jail without incident where he was then being held without bail.”
