News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On 3/29/2015 at about 1336 hours Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a Criminal Trespass in progress on Crown Point Road, outside of the community of Charleston. Deputies were given a description of the suspect that was seen and after searching the area of Crown Point Road Deputies located Christopher Rauschert, age 20 of Coos Bay. Investigation showed that he was the subject seen on the property. Mr. Rauschert was arrested him for Criminal Trespass I. During the arrest he was also found to be in possession of meth. He was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine). Mr. Rauschert was also found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest from the Oregon Youth Authority. He was transported to the Coos County Jail where he was lodged on those charges.
