The Douglas Co. District Attorney’s Office has been asked to handle a Coos County case involving a Sheriff’s Department Deputy due to a possible conflict following his arrest on an Assault charge Sunday, Aug. 6, involving his wife.  Law enforcement officers responded to a Bandon residence about 4:30 a.m. where they found a bloodied victim, the victim’s son, and the suspect.  Thirty-nine year old Klayton Charles Wilson was taken into custody on charges of Menacing, Harassment and Assault in the Fourth Degree.  He was immediately placed on Administrative Leave, and according to Coos Co. District Attorney R. Paul Frasier, who removed himself and his office from the case, the Sheriff has terminate Wilson’s employment.  His next court date was set for Aug. 14, 2017.
