A three-day disaster response exercise is taking place this weekend in Coos and Curry counties involving law enforcement and first responders from 40 agencies begins Saturday, June 24. The exercise has reportedly been in the planning stage for over a year. The exercise will involve fixed-wing aircrafts and helicopters an undisclosed locations in North Bend, Bandon, and Port Orford.
