Six sections of a dock believed to have washed out of Charleston Harbor a week prior, showed up on Lighthouse Beach, at Gregory Point this past weekend. The docks are not expected to be hazardous, but pieces of the dock’s interior styro-foam have been washing up on the sandy beach popular with local surfers. The Oregon State Parks and Recreation Department is investigating alternatives to removing the debris.
