On Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at approximately 2:32 am, the Douglas County 9-1-1 center received a report of a structure fire in the 100-block of Estella Street in Glide. The structure was fully engulfed upon arrival of the fire department. After the fire was knocked down, the remains of a victim were located in the home. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is working with the Oregon State Fire Marshal’s Office to determine cause and origin of the fire.
