A green PT Cruiser crashed south of Coquille on Hwy. 42, Tuesday afternoon, causing a reduction in traffic lanes while emergency personnel responded. The driver, who incurred severe injuries, was first transported to Coquille Valley Hospital and then on to Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield. The Coos Co. Crash Team is investigating the accident.
