News release from the Lincoln Co. Sheriff’s Office. On September 15, 2014 at about 8:00 pm, a female reported that she had injuries sustained in a possible assault that occurred at a residence in Toledo, Oregon. Senior Deputy Barry Bruster investigated the report and determined the victim was assaulted by a spouse, Terrison Shrives, age 34 of Toledo, Oregon. The assault, which occurred in the presence of Shrives’ 15 year old minor child, elevated the crime to a class C Felony charge. Shrives was contacted, taken into custody, then transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged for the crimes of Assault IV (felony), Strangulation, and Violation of a Washington State no contact order with a bail of $80,000.00.
