The Oregon Board of Forestry’s Subcommittee on Federal Forests will meet February 24 in Salem. Agenda items include discussion of a draft paper about modernization of U.S. Forest Service policies that was submitted to the state Board of Forestry at its Jan. 7 meeting. This draft is consistent with the subcommittee’s federal forests work plan, which the full board approved on July 25, 2014. The meeting will be held from 2:30- 3:30 p.m. in the Clatsop Room – Administration Building C, at the Oregon Department of Forestry’s Salem Headquarters, 2600 State Street. Members of the subcommittee may attend by conference call; the public is invited to attend in person.
