Coos Elderly Services, Inc., a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is opening its doors to all individuals interested in learning about techniques for successful, stress-free daily money management. A free Bill Management Workshop will take place every fourth Wednesday of the month 10-11 am and will cover a variety of subjects including Creating and Maintaining budgets, Bill payment and review, Expense and income tracking, Document management, The Scheme of the Month Alert and others. The workshop is designed for people of all ages and income levels, and is free of charge. Those who struggle to manage their personal finances are at risk for impoverishment, homelessness, institutionalization, and guardianship. Get assistance, keep independence! The first workshop is scheduled for July 22 at Coos Elderly Services at 390 South 2nd Street in Coos Bay.
