News release CCSO Monday, 11/27/17: The Coos County Sheriff’s Office would like to report the 911 services for Frontier Customers in Lakeside Oregon are currently compromised. Frontier is working to fix this issue. If you have an emergency, use a cell phone or a telephone that is through another carrier, such as Charter Communications. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office will be sending a dispatcher to Lakeside and Frontier can forward the calls to them. This situation is what is called “community isolation” and has happened before when wire thefts have been committed.  Update, 11/27, 9:28 p.m.:  Phone service in Lakeside has been restored. It was caused by a line being accidentally cut south of Lakeside. Dispatchers have returned to normal operations.
