Oregon State Police (OSP) Criminal Investigations Division arrested a 29-year old Grants Pass man Thursday following an investigation into unlawful sexual contact with a female juvenile. On August 21, 2014, OSP detectives and a trooper arrested NATHANIEL SCOTT THATCHER, age 29, at his residence in the 700 block of Plumtree Lane in Grants Pass. ThATCHER was lodged in the Josephine County Jail on the following charges: * Sexual Abuse in the First Degree (3 counts); * Sodomy in the Second Degree; * Unlawful Sexual Penetration in the Second Degree (3 counts). The investigation began August 12, 2014, after OSP was provided information of THATCHER’s alleged sexual contact with the 12-year old victim.
