The Oregon State Police (OSP) Fish and Wildlife Division and the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the person(s) responsible for the unlawful taking of a large bodied mule deer buck found deceased with the head removed near Frenchglen in Harney County on the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. The buck is believed to have been shot on or about November 20, 2015. A reward is being offered by the Oregon Hunters Association through the Turn-in-Poachers (TIP) program for any information leading to an arrest and conviction in this or any other wildlife offense.
