A Health Advisory has been issued for the waters of Harris Beach just north of Brookings on the South Oregon Coast. Higher-than-normal levels of bacteria were detected in the water during normal sampling by the Oregon Health Authority. Visitors are urged to avoid contact with the water until the advisory is lifted.
