According to Sergeant Mark Davie, on May 1st, 2015 at 3:44 pm a two vehicle serious injury crash occurred on HWY 99E at Milepost 36 near Salem. A white 2002 Toyota Echo, driven by Mr. LEO PROBERT, age 47 of Conconully Washington, was northbound on Hwy 99E when it crossed the center line and collided with a blue 1993 Honda Civic that was traveling southbound. The Honda was driven by Mr. MANUEL GARIBAY CERVANTES, age 43 of Salem. Both occupants were taken to Salem Hospital where they were both treated for their injuries and released. The highway remained closed for approximately 2 hours while Troopers investigated the crash and to allow for the removal of the vehicles.
