Domestic Violence affects us all. This 10-week volunteer training series, offered through Southwestern Oregon Community College, is open to all community members who would like to attend, and is required for those wanting to volunteer as a domestic violence with the Women’s Safety and Resource Center. The Women’s Safety and Resource Center, along with professionals in the field, will provide training in the dynamics of domestic violence, oppression and racism, community resources, domestic violence criminal and civil laws and the role of the DV advocate.
