Marshfield’s swim teams swept visiting North Eugene in a prep dual at the Mingus Park Pool Monday. It was also senior night for the Pirates. The Marshfield boys won 94-73, and the Lady Pirates prevailed 110-57. Marshfield’s swim teams compete at the Skip Rumbaugh Invitational at Corvallis on Saturday. AJ Kliewer 200 Free 2:00.73 & 100 Back 1:03.71 and Connor Fromm 200 IM 2:13.45 & 500 Free 5:19.91 each won two events to lead the Pirate boys over the Highlanders. In the girls race: Anna Hutchins won the 50 Free 26:59, 100 Free 57.95, and swam legs on the winning 200 Free Relay with Brianna Billeter, Cassidy Carr & Sierra Ward 1:59.46 and the 400 Free Relay with Kady Cooley, Paige Kirchner and Taylor Waddington 4:19.16.
