On Saturday, September 14, 2019 at approximately 4:46 P.M. Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a two vehicle crash on Hwy 214 near mile post 41. Preliminary investigation revealed that a Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by Travis Corter (50) of Hillsboro, was eastbound in the westbound lanes passing a car. He collided with a westbound Chevrolet Volt operated by Massoud Jourabchi (64) of Beaverton. Corter sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased. Three of the five occupants of the Chevrolet Volt were transported to Salem Hospital for minor injuries.
