North Bend’s girls beat four-time defending state 4A champions Sutherlin 30-28 in overtime in a non league basketball game at NBHS Tuesday night. The Lady Bulldogs (4-9) open Far West League play Friday at South Umpqua. North Bend’s boys made it a clean sweep for the local varsity teams with a 47-45 win over Sutherlin. Lke the girls, the boys open FWL play at Sutherlin Friday.
