City of North Bend releasOn the evening of October 9, 2018 the City of North Bend’s Waste Water Pump Station #2 experienced a pressure sensor fault which caused a release of approximately 50,000 gallons of raw sewage into the bay. The pump station has been repaired. The Oregon Emergency Response System, Department of Environmental Quality, Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife, Department of Agriculture, and the Coos County Environmental Health Department have been notified.
