North Bend’s swim teams swept the eight-school Madras White Buffalo Classic Saturday in Central Oregon. The Bulldog girls won every event en route to scoring 152-points. Hood River Valley was second with 57. The North Bend boys won with 151-points, HRV was again second, but with 40. Vianka Hoyer won the 50 Freestyle & 100 Butterfly, Bella Jones took the 200 & 500 Freestyle races, and Sierra Trichler won the 100 Freestyle & 100 Breaststroke. Ryan Trichler led the boys with wins in the 200 Freestyle & Breastroke.

Marshfield’s boys were ninth and the Pirate girls tenth at the 14-team Skip Rumbaugh Invitational at Corvallis Saturday. Anna Hutchins won two events, the 100 Butterfly & 500 Freestyle. She also swam a leg on the Pirates fourth place 200 Freestyle Relay. Bend took both the boys and girls team titles.
