According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, April 18, 1:25 p.m., 2200 block Everett, “traffic stop,” 40-year old Damien Arellanes, Coos Bay, taken into custody on Probation Violation, and additionally charged with Attempt to Elude, and cited for DWS Violation.  Also, warned for Unsignaled Left Turn, and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Entries on the NBPD log for Tuesday, April 18, involving transients or individuals.  12:13 a.m., 3000 block Broadway Ave., “officer out with subject sleeping at location.  Subject warned for Criminal Trespass and advisded to clean up his garbage and leave location.”  Senior & Disabled Services old address, 56-year old Jedediah Parks contacted.  1:47 a.m., 3200 block Broadway Ave., “RP request welfare check on subject sleeping outside.  Officers checked area and located subject sleeping nearby in different location,” 53-year old Lisa K. Wilcox, Coos Bay, cited for Criminal Trespass II and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.  Bree’s Upscale Resale Circle H Plaza.  1:57 a.m., 3300 block Broadway Ave., “officer out with subject at location, subject warned for Criminal Trespass and No Bike Light,” 26-year old Matthew Garner contacted, McDonald’s restaurant.  9:56 a.m., 1000 block Wall St., “request extra patrols in neighborhood.  Male transient walks by all time.  This morning he was yelling at my son in law.”   11:05 a.m., 1500 block Virginia Ave., “911 dispute, male/female transient, sidewalk in front of Taco Bell.  Officers responded/subjects denied dispute.  Male has hearing problem so she was yelling so he could hear her.  Female was warned if she did not return shopping cart to Walmart she will be issued citation for Theft.”  Sixty-year old John Bowen and 48-year old Anita Vagallos contacted.  1:06 p.m., 3400 block Broadway, “male transient laying in parking lot, another male in area, went them trespassed if they haven’t been already.  Officer responded/subject picked up belongings and left area.  He was permanently trespassed from business,” 44-yea rold Christopher Beltran contacted.  4:50 p.m., 1600 block Virginia Ave., “PV Mall Security reported out of control female throwing furniture around crying, female left walking towards the VA Clinic, officers out with female on Marion/12th St., female was given courtesy ride to Empire, warned for Disorderly Conduct.”  4:54 p.m., 1300 block Sherman Ave., “Captain received report of suspicious male transient drinking alcohol in front of Visitor Information Center.  Officer responded/advised subject left prior to arrival.  RP will recall if he returns.”
